We Cultivate Relationships
About Us
The American Women's Organization of Greece (AWOG) is a call to action that pulses through every aspect of our organization. As Americans living in Greece, we know the power of connection and support in navigating life abroad and for this reason we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where American women and their friends can come together to share experiences, make lasting friendships, and find a place of comfort in Greece.
Our History
Since its inception in 1948, the American Women's Organization of Greece (AWOG) has forged a remarkable history of service and camaraderie. Rooted in the spirit of volunteerism, we have been a driving force behind numerous charitable initiatives throughout Greece. From its humble beginnings, our organization has blossomed into a vibrant community of nearly 150 members. Our organization is affiliated with FAWCO - the Federation of American Women Clubs Overseas, an international network of independent volunteer clubs comprising 58 member Clubs in 29 countries, proudly extending our network globally.
